Panel size is 18 inches tall x 13 inches wide. Get it on a fabric that is 54 inches wide, like "Cotton Lawn" or "Organic Cotton Sateen" to have EIGHT panels per yard. If you sew and design quilts, Create a hexified panel quilt with this fabric. Create a One Block Wonder and OBW variations quilt. One yard (plus one fat quarter) of Kona Cotton Ultra gives you seven panels. See my blog post with eleven pictures and clear directions for a hexified panel quilt, one using another of my panel designs! https://nancyleemoran.com/blog/?p=1100 The beauty of fuchsia pink and purple, the magic of sparking snow and wings, like a vision from Victorian times! Snow fairies in finery alight atop a blue-spruce tree. As fairy art, the painting also speaks to me of the love between a mother and daughter, a mentor and girl, or between sisters. I believe it to be about affection, protection and tenderness. In the first week of February 2010, a light snow fell upon my town. Two of my small vinyl dolls braved the snow to balance on a blue spruce tree for photos. I created new faces and made costume changes. The floral dress was designed by Tracy of sewmanydreams from an MHD doll pattern. I changed its colors to my favorite colors of cranberry and blush rose. For the child's violet outfit, I was inspired by various ballet costumes. Her cap is a reproduction of an antique doll hat in a Theriault doll catalog.
