Silver, gray, white and black colorway. Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for this primitive honu (turtle) design used in the Polynesian and Hawaiian cultures. These types of designs were often printed on aloha shirts and pareaus for traditional hula dancers. We took our turtle, distressed him, as he would appear when printed on tapa cloth, and allowed him to swim allover the ocean with his many friends creating a camouflage. This design comes in several colorways. This design is part of the “Black and White and Shades of Gray” collection. Each of our Hawaiian and tropical print collections are merchandised by color story. These designs can be used together for home decor and apparel.
